Walk the silent nullahs with Alec Riley in August

Dear reader,

I want to let you know of a special Alec Riley day on Peter Hart’s battlefield tour of Gallipoli in August–September.

Michael Crane has plotted an itinerary of Helles that covers many of the places mentioned in Alec Riley’s Gallipoli diary.

Mike has made a detailed study of this ground over many years, and we’ll benefit from his knowledge of the trenches and terrain. We’ll also see some of the hidden “attractions” that Mike has located on the battlefield.

We’ll be walking the ‘silent nullahs’ on 31 August 2022.
