We are pleased to offer digital editions of our books as high-resolution PDF downloads. By selling them directly from our website, we can pass the savings on to you, with no retail markup. All prices are in Australian dollars.
How to download your digital book
After your purchase is complete, you will have instant access to your download link. Your purchase includes a single-user license for your personal use.
To protect the author’s copyright, your PDF file will be digitally watermarked with your name and email address.
The download link will remain active for 7 days from the date of purchase. During this period, you can download the file up to 5 times. Please save the file to your computer or device as soon as you download it.
About the PDF files
Our digital editions are provided as high-resolution PDFs. The file size is generally between 20MB and 80MB, depending on the length of the book and the number of images it contains.
Please note that copying has been disabled in the PDF and printing is low-resolution only. If you would like a high quality, physical copy to read, please purchase a paperback or hardback edition from our website or your preferred retailer.
Payment information
We use Stripe to process all online payments. Stripe is a globally trusted and secure e-commerce payment provider, ensuring that your payment details are safe.
Even though our prices are in Australian dollars (AUD), you can easily purchase from anywhere in the world. Stripe automatically handles the currency conversion during the checkout process. The final amount will be charged to your card in your local currency by your bank, just like any other international online purchase.
How to view your PDF like a real book
Our digital editions can be read just like a physical book: with the cover on its own, and then two pages side-by-side as you read. This is often called a ‘two-page’ or ‘two-up’ view.
Getting this set up is easy, but the exact steps depend on which PDF application you are using. Here’s a guide to the most popular ones.
Adobe Acrobat Reader (recommended)
Open your PDF file in Adobe Acrobat Reader.
At the top of the screen, click on the Menu button (it looks like three horizontal lines ☰ in the top-left corner).
From the dropdown menu, move your mouse down to View, then across to Page display.
You need to select two options from this menu:
First, click Two-page view.
Then, go back to the same menu (Menu > View > Page display) and also click Show cover page in two-page view.
The book will now display correctly, with the cover page sitting on its own on the right-hand side, followed by pages 2 and 3 together, just like an open book.
Apple Preview (for Mac users)
If you’re using a Mac, the built-in Preview app works well.
Open the PDF file in Preview.
Click on the View menu at the top of the screen.
Simply choose Two Pages.
Preview is usually clever enough to show the cover on its own. If for any reason it shows page 1 and page 2 side-by-side, please see the troubleshooting tip at the bottom of this page.
Viewing in a web browser (like Chrome, Edge or Safari)
When you open a PDF in your web browser, the options are often more basic.
Open the PDF in your browser.
Look for a settings icon in the top-right corner (it's often three dots or a cogwheel).
In the menu that appears, look for an option like Two-page view or Side by side.
Please note: Most web browsers do not have the special option to show the cover page separately. This means they will often display the cover (page 1) next to page 2, which can spoil the layout.
Troubleshooting: when the cover appears on the wrong side
Some PDF viewers aren't smart enough to separate the cover page. They simply pair pages 1-2, 3-4, and so on.
If this happens, the easiest fix is to add a blank page to the very beginning of your document.
You can do this using the ‘Organize Pages’ or ‘Insert Page’ tool in applications like Adobe Acrobat Pro, or with various free online PDF editor tools. By inserting a single blank page at the start, you push the cover to the second position, which forces the reader to pair the rest of the pages correctly.
Other digital formats (ePub for Kindle, Apple etc.)
We also make our books available in ePub format through various online retailers.
If you would prefer an ePub version for your e-reader, you can find our titles on:
Amazon’s Kindle store

and other major ebook retailers.
These versions are distributed through our partnership with IngramSpark, which connects our books to a global network of ebook sellers.
