Cheryl Ward

Biography

Cheryl is an Australian actress, writer, director and graphic designer. She is known for her screen appearances on television and film, as well as her extensive theater work.

Ward trained under Australian actor Lionel Long before being accepted into the Stella Adler Academy in Los Angeles. In 2008, she attended the Acting Shakespeare course at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London, where she performed as Queen Lear under the direction of Brian Stirner.

Her acting credits include over 30 theatrical productions, including Caryl Churchill's Top Girls at the New Theatre in Newtown, Sydney.

Ward wrote, directed, produced, and designed Through These Lines, which premiered in 2010 with performances in the tunnels of Headland Park, Mosman. The production later toured regional New South Wales in 2014, with site-specific performances in tunnels, bunkers, and soldiers' memorial halls.

Ward has worked in graphic design for over 35 years after studying at Randwick College of Graphic Design. Her client base includes theater companies, magazines, and businesses.
